Carolyne Mazur is a photographer of Scottish Polish parentage. She was born and brought up in Angus and her home is now in Mull.

As a newcomer living in the Gàidhealtacht, Mazur’s practice is a form of journalling - recording the process of exploration and research, whilst gaining a deeper understanding of a Gaelic Way of Seeing and of her own relationship with Place, both past and present.

She is currently working on Fangan, a study of Fanks - beautiful, poignant dry stone wall structures - found across Mull and surrounding islands.
